Glycol-powered cooling systems featuring dependable glycol trunk line will help you ensure proper chilling of your draft beer. This trunk line features 1/4-inch draft beer lines, and a layer of tape provides excellent flexibility for easy installation and minimal gapping.

Each trunk line is equipped with an internal moisture barrier to prevent condensation, and a foil wrap that sits over this barrier to efficiently utilize the cooling power of the glycol lines. Each of the quarter-inch inside diameter product lines lies in direct contact with a glycol line for maximum reliability and effectiveness.

For the majority of long draw or commercial draft beer systems, especially those running 6 or more beer lines or draft systems running over 15 feet, a glycol chiller is recommended. This system implements a separate chiller that uses the power of glycol to move beer further distances, while still keeping it cold from keg to tap. Propylene glycol, a non-toxic, food-grade antifreeze, is the main component that’s been used for many years in food-processing systems.

Propylene glycol is combined with water to create a chilled mixture that’s pumped from the through the cooling lines that run parallel to your beer lines. Both distinct lines are kept cold by the internal moisture barrier in these trunk lines and foil wrap around each glycol line.
