This pass-thru beer tap tower is designed to be used with a glycol cooling system, which uses a separate refrigeration unit (opposed to circulating air) to keep the beer at the appropriate temperature all the way through the faucet. Copper glycol lines are built right into the tower — all you have to do is connect them your . The tower is also fully insulated for improved temperature efficiency.

For the majority of long draw or commercial draft beer systems, especially those running 6 or more beer lines or draft systems running over 15 feet, a glycol chiller is recommended. This system implements a separate chiller that uses the power of glycol to move beer further distances, while still keeping it cold from keg to tap. Propylene glycol, a non-toxic, food-grade antifreeze, is the main component that’s been used for many years in food-processing systems.
