For the majority of long draw or commercial draft beer systems, especially those running 6 or more beer lines or draft systems running over 15 feet, a is recommended. This system implements a separate chiller that uses the power of glycol to move beer further distances, while still keeping it cold from keg to tap. Propylene glycol, a non-toxic, food-grade antifreeze, is the main component that’s been used for many years in food-processing systems.

Specially designed to accommodate a long draw beer system with lines up to 250 feet long, this commercial glycol chiller features a 1/2 HP air-cooled compressor, a 13.2 gallon glycol bath, and a single pump for glycol recirculation.

An air-cooled draft beer dispensing system is much less dependable than a beer line glycol chiller system. If you insist on peak performance, a glycol beer chiller is the way to go.
